I have been very busy with wedding orders lately. It is interesting as brides and grooms have so different time frames. Some contact me saying they need something quickly and they are late to send a Save the Date for a March 2013 wedding. Others tell me their invitation is for August 1st 2012, so there is plenty of time!
Today I wanted to share a Save the date design I did last month. This time, although it is the size of a postcard, it is a simple card with envelopes. As usual, the paper is a thick (280gsm) hairy manilla brown 100% recycled kraft. The bride and groom had very precise desires and even sent me pictures. I love it! They wanted a read heart on the front and a simple modern font at the back.
As it is a small wedding, I customised the envelopes and printed every guest's address and the bride and groom's address at the back in the same font as the one used for the invite. The envelopes are a slightly ribbed kraft.
These Save the Date cards are now available in my shop
and can be customised further.
